Re this I am not suggesting that you have caused any problems but please be assured that such actions are dangerous both to the ram and the board YOU NEVER remove or insert ram on a system that is under power That said I will post again when I have examined the situation - with possible suggestions as to what is the problem Re above send please the exact details of the Corsair Vengeance LPX ram I do not think it is ram in itself as far as it is faulty I think if it is ram related the settings are wrong OR if it is not ram in itself then there is another problem I know you mention Extreme memory profile but have you overclocked using the Asus system 5-Way Optimization at your disposal it takes just one click to tune complex settings — for instant, highly-controllable performance boosts!

Problems with DDR4 MHz running rated speed on Asus Pro Gaming Z | TechPowerUp Forums
I have tried A1 and A2 and still does not work, i also tried changing the latency of the ram and same thing happens, i will now try the MEMOK thing you told me and let you know the results. Cheers it MAY be as per my last post - if it is not the stock cooler but try the memok please first, but post cooler details if not boxed with CPU. Im using the Hyper evo, been running a stable OC since i got the motherboard 4.
Alright thank you so much for your help, will go to the store i bought my motherboard and see what they can do. Cheers let me know how you go please. So just to update you i went to the store where i bought my motherboard a few days ago and they took it and they're testing it now to see if there's any issues and they'll call me and give me a new one, turns out it was the motherboard as im using my older ASUS HPlus right now with both sticks and no issues.

I then rebooted, and shut down. Put the second module into slot 2, and started up the PC again. But again, no POST. Put in only one module into slot 4. Then set the speed and timings manually, reboot, power down, and install the second module into slot 2.listing of free casino bonuses which should suit your needs the most. I'm not sure if that would work, but regardless - I have no idea what timings etc to fill in there, and absolutely no idea what voltage. Can anyone help me out there?
Or does anyone know of any other way to get these modules to run in dual-channel? However, I'll try tonight when I get home.
Actually no, on further investigation and testing I found that only B1 and B2 work. But nothing works in A1 or A2. Not a single, no doubles, nothing.
Those 2 slots are completely dead. But not dead as you would normally expect from bent CPU socket pins or something. Did check for bent CPU socket pins, btw, they're all fine. Air cooler also isn't on too tight or anything.
Of which I unfortunately have neither on hand, but I can live with single-channel for now. Google heaps bot upon page of results on me when I search for this issue.
Z170 Pro Gaming DIMM_A2 not working
Problem is, no 2 problems seem to be completely identical and none of the solutions worked for me mostly regarding setting the RAM freq, voltages and timings manually. I've signed up here just to reply to this. I have this exact same problem with G. Only works in B1 and Gaminy.
